Cultivating the Next Generation of Conservation Leaders

Welcome to our scholarship program dedicated to fostering the next generation of wildlife conservationists.

The future of conservation, hunting, and wildlife management is directly dependent on the passion and dedication of the next generations. Recognizing this critical need, the AWC Conservation Leadership Scholarship program offers two distinct awards of $2000 each to dedicated students pursuing degrees in wildlife biology, ecology, conservation science, or related fields. These opportunities are made possible through the generous support and gratitude of our donors and sponsors.

Scholarship Application

Eligibility Criteria

Applicants must be between the ages of 16 and 20.
Must demonstrate a strong commitment to conservation, sustainable hunting, and fishing practices.
Must be enrolled in, or planning to enroll in, a program related to wildlife management, environmental science, conservation biology, or a related field.
Must be actively engaged in local conservation efforts or community service promoting responsible land use.
Must submit a personal essay detailing their passion for conservation and how the scholarship will impact their education and career goals.

Two letters of recommendation from teachers, mentors, or community leaders.
Proof of academic enrollment or intent to enroll.
Portfolio of conservation-related experiences or projects (optional).
